I have been told by some people that are close to me to “dumb” it down some. So I’m going to take their advice (for now) and see if I can help you understand the beauty of this business.

You need a network of professionals on whom you can rely to give you advice in areas you have little knowledge. Attorneys can keep you out of legal trouble.
Building inspectors can prevent you from making bad investments. Realtors can save you money by selling your properties quickly. Accountants can keep you out of jail!
It may take time to put your dream team together. Some members will come and go, by your choice or theirs.
Others are in for the long haul. Remember that everyone expects loyalty and honesty. Keep communications with your dream team open and clear, and you will get that loyalty in return.

Who are your “pocket Investors”? Any investor that trusts you to find them good investment opportunities, and is willing to put their money in your hands for a guaranteed minimum return, is your “pocket investor”.
Although you may think you don’t have any pocket investors, as you progress through this course, you will see who they are and how easy it is to find them.
For example, anyone with retirement funds who is discouraged about the recent performance of their accounts is a prime candidate to be a pocket investor.
The problem is, that your future investors don’t consider themselves as potential investors! They have retirement funds that may be used to benefit both of you. However they are unaware that those funds are available for real estate investment.
